Debate continues over the recently concluded season of Euphoria. Even before it premiered, the long-awaited HBO series had already broken records after its trailer racked up 100 million views in two days.
While there is a lot to discuss regarding the plot, the ending, and the characters of the series, one unavoidable aspect of the Emmy-winning series is its makeup looks. The previous seasons, especially its debut, featured a more editorial and experimental approach. By contrast, the final season’s makeup is more polished and intentional, showing a clear evolution from bold to refined yet still playful.
This creative direction is guided by the vision of Donni Davy, Euphoria’s makeup artist. When asked about her inspirations, Davy said the colours and textures come in flashes. “It all starts with the scripts. I read through and jot down notes, imagining the looks as I go.” From Maddy Perez’s double eyeliner to Mama Brown’s gold highlights, the season delivered some standout makeup moments. Here are our favourite looks from this season’s Euphoria.
Maddy Perez: Episode 2

Stepping into her new role as executive assistant, Maddy embodies the mob-wife aesthetic – razor-sharp eyeliners, tightlined eyes, precisely overlined lips, and soft tendrils framing her face. Together, these details radiate confidence and draw attention with her bold persona.
Magick: Episode 2

Magick arrives as a new character brought to life by Spanish singer Rosalía, channelling a rebellious dancer. Every electrifying makeup element underscores her fearless attitude, including Y2K-thin brows and two-toned lips. Not to forget is her winged eyeliner studded with gems, sparkling her eyes beneath stage lights.
Jules: Episode 2

Euphoria introduced Jules as a free-spirited, eclectic character. However, she swapped her exuberant eyeshadows for more smoky, muted colours, reflecting the sadness she’s experiencing in this current chapter.
Maddy: Episode 3

Later, in what was dubbed ‘the revenge look’, Maddy attended Cassie and Nate’s wedding in a backless green dress. She paired her smoky bronze eyeshadow with gold shimmer and understated glossy brown lips to complete her dark, dramatic makeup.
Kitty: Episode 4

Kitty, a dancer at Alamo’s Silver Slipper club, gravitates toward all things glittery, reflecting of her upbeat attitude in this chapter. In episode four, she matched her chainmail dress with radiant pink eyes, rosy blush, and pink lips, emphasising her joyful persona.
Cassie: Episode 4

Expressive and playful, Cassie adopts shifting personas for her subscribers. As she embraces a vintage-inspired aesthetic with gingham prints, her cohesive, dynamic look – shimmery eyes, tight-lined eyes, flushed red blusher, and blush-toned lips – reflects her changing narrative.
Faye: Episode 5

In contrast, Faye leans into her signature subtlety by focusing on bold lips while the rest of her look stays minimal. Feathered brows and luminous eyeshadow complement manga-inspired lashes, highlighting her thoughtfully balanced appearance.
Mama Brown: Episode 6

Even from the sidelines, Mama Brown, Alamo Brown’s mother, projects authority through her styling. In particular, her wardrobe of sensual dresses and elaborate jewellery works in tandem with high-shine gold highlighter and a strict red lip-and-nail coordination, creating an entirely deliberate aesthetic.
