For French jewellery maison Fred, also known as the Sunshine Jeweller, the spirit of the French Riviera has always been a source of inspiration. The sun and sea, together with the maison’s founder Fred Samuel’s passion for sailing led to the birth of the brand’s most iconic Force 10 collection. Now, nearly 60 years later, the collection opens a new chapter with Force 10 Rise, an all-new collection that takes the cable-and-buckle motif to all new heights.
The Force 10 collection made its first mark in the world of jewellery in 1966, bringing signature emblems of the challenging sport of sailing into the precious world of luxury accessories.
The act of entwining a metal cable with a golden clasp in the shape of a mariner’s carabiner, grew into a symbol of courage and determination to be worn by both men and women over the decades since, solidifying Fred and Force 10 into an unyielding icon.
In 2025, the Force 10 Rise makes its debut, bringing the collection into a more radiant and feminine territory. Inspired by the design codes of one of its signature Force 10 high jewellery sets, Force 10 Rise launches with five creations in both pink and white gold, with the central buckle now adorned with diamond pave. The motif is recognisable by the form of three distinct rows: cable, buckle, and a line of diamonds that highlights the Force 10 emblems in a new dimension.
The band ring creation perfectly embodies the design and can be worn on its own or stacked to create a cascading style. Along with the band ring, the style is also presented in necklace form, with the bold band strung along matching gold chain to hang close to the heart. On top of those two, two pairs of earrings join the collection and provides a twist to the Force 10 Rise design, stylised as a pair of half-moon shaped earrings or as hoops with the buckle taking pride of place. The fifth piece that completes the collection is an ear cuff that brings geometric and contemporary touches to the motif and made perfect for combining with the earrings to create a look uniquely yours.
