In an extraordinary collaboration between sports fashion and fine watchmaking, Franck Muller has teamed up with New Balance to launch a capsule collection of futuristic, stylish sneakers.
Building upon the New Balance everyday kick 996 sneakers, the CM996 Limited Edition sneakers marries the signature NB design details with the Swiss watchmaker’s unique craftsmanship.
Frank Muller lends its aesthetic to the sneakers with the two metallic colourways of the 996 inspired by classic symbols from horology. One pair gleams in silver to highlight the use of metal in watchmaking, while another is given a luxurious gold and black outfit for a timeless look. The CM996 also sports elements of watch dials such as oversized cursive numerals that are embossed into metallic leather sections of the upper, complemented by a matching, multi-coloured insole print.
Each pair of the Franck Muller x New Balance 996 sneakers will be limited to 996 pairs, and are available at Japanese New Balance stockists at ¥22,000 JPY (approximately RM860).
