In the past, womenswear and haute couture would get all the attention, leaving menswear behind to fight for the spotlight. However, in recent years, seeing men’s clothes and accessories on the runway has been getting more exciting, mainly because it is a smaller conversation, and the revolution is easier to trace.
When it comes to Paris, the men’s fashion scene is as vibrant as womenswear. The latest Fall/Winter 2025-2026 shows reveal some interesting trends for the upcoming season. There are some you can even adopt now to stay ahead of the current. Without further ado, here are seven standout trends during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
1. White on white on white
White coats, shirts, and trousers are everywhere, establishing themselves as key pieces in the masculine wardrobe. Long white coats can be seen at Fursac in a structured version for timeless elegance; while at Dior, tight-fitting cuts with a sculptural appeal are ready to take over the season.
Pieces from Issey Miyake’s menswear collection, IM Men, experiment with fluidity by using airy and light fabrics; and for Jacquemus, the white coat finally made an appearance in a striking design that combines Mediterranean sophistication with the spirit of couture.
2. A new take on suiting
The classic suit has been transformed into a veritable playground for style experimentation for the upcoming season. Pharrell Williams and Nigo’s asymmetrical cuts and inventive textures define the suit collection for Louis Vuitton, while Colm Dillane designed dark-hued striped suits for KidSuper. Also, wide-leg volumes on trousers and checked prints are making their way into the fashion scene.
3. Down jackets are making a comeback
Parisian designers are bringing back down coats and quilted jackets in extra large silhouettes, striking designs, and exceptional prints – without sacrificing comfort. They will be seen at 3. Paradis in enormous amounts and Y-3 for more sporty cuts using inventive materials. Meanwhile, at KidSuper and its partnership with Bape, the down jacket gets a makeover with striking designs and vibrant hues.
4. Faux fur coats are back in style
Faux fur coats have made a name for themselves as one of Fall/Winter’s must-have items. Sacai used technical yokes to play on contrasts, whilst 424 and 3. Paradis added streetwear touches and modern cuts to their faux furs. Through more traditional, opulent designs with flawless finishing, Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana also presented fresh takes on the trend during Milan Men’s Fashion Week
5. The gradual resurgence of skinny jeans
The upcoming season will also see the return of slim-fitting, skinny jeans. At Dior, the skinny jeans are accentuated by delicate details and materials to represent the brand’s refined aesthetic. Bluemarble interprets the trend with a retro touch, incorporating faded shades like those seen during the 2000s.
Additionally, during Milan Men’s Fashion Week, Prada featured its ‘Indie Sleaze’ trend on the runway. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons envision a more laid-back take on slim-fitting pants to be worn with velvet blazers.
6. Mini shorts will be making a bold comeback
Perfect for our Malaysian weather, the mini shorts for men will be the next big thing in fashion. Fursac and Jacquemus will be carrying a big range of mini shorts with different colours and cuts. MSGM will be launching the boxer short version, while Lemaire designs the airy variant. Designed to be worn with coats during the Fall/Winter season, this trend can also be adopted now, especially for countries with hotter climates like ours.
7. Don’t be afraid to wear pink
Pink – the star colour of next season – will be making a bold statement. To highlight a particular elegance in the male wardrobe, Kim Jones has created exquisite designs in powder pink tones and subtle cuts at Dior. As evidence that the colour can also be applied to streetwear, Pharrell Williams has created pink cardigans with chevron designs for his latest collection at Louis Vuitton.
Rochas, on the other hand, made a romantic gesture by using pastel pink shades for its coats and jackets with broad shoulders. Additionally, Maria Koch gave her Berlin label, 032C, a modern energy by reinterpreting the colour with striking textures.
