“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal. Nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong attitude.”
That statement is just one out of a stream of insightful captions you’ll find off the Instagram account of Dimash Adilet (@dimashadilet), son of one of Kazakhstan’s successful businessmen. Though little is known about the nature of his family’s business, it’s safe to say that it must be incredibly lucrative, judging from the 23-year-old’s extravagant lifestyle.
But his 765k followers (and rising by the day) aren’t simply here for a glimpse of his glamourous life or pleasingly good looks – no harm to those who are, though – as he claims to be a role model to them by imparting words of wisdom through his posts.
Currently based in Switzerland, the double degree holder in finance and psychology spends much of his spare time reading on a diverse range of topics. He often encourages his followers to do the same, so much so that he recently held an Instagram giveaway of his personal book recommendations.
Despite his hectic schedule, this jet-setter always spends his mornings keeping up with the news.
“I have a number of apps from the news sources I trust the most,” he shares on one of his Instagram posts, “And if I can get my hands on a physical newspaper from a trustworthy publisher, I read that too.”
…and Maldives, just to name a few. He also speaks three languages: English being his first language, Russian and French; with plans to learn Kazakh, Spanish and Chinese in the future.
What’s his preferred mode of transport? “It’s business suits and sports cars by day, leather and motorcycles by night,” he says. (Sounds almost like a real-life Batman, if you ask us).
Among his personal rides include a grey and orange Audi R8…
When not reading or travelling, he is actively involved in boxing, swimming and skiing. In fact, he has previously competed in Swiss national ski racing competitions.
