How does this product differ from other Drunk Elephant eye care treatments?
Each eye product has its own specialty. The other products like Ceramighty are the richest. It is designed for those who find that they just cannot get enough moisture for the skin around their eyes. Meanwhile, C-Tango is our medium-weight cream formula that is loaded with eight skin-firming, strengthening peptides, five forms of brightening vitamin C, and multiple other activities that are more targeted toward improving signs of ageing—fine lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

Can you tell us about the key ingredients?
A-Shaba contains 0.1% retinol, 3% caffeine, and copper tripeptide-1. We included 0.1% retinol due to its gentle concentration that’s OK for everyone to use. This pure form of vegan retinol can help improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area, as well as ward off the free radical damage done by daily exposure to UV rays, pollution, and other environmental stressors.
The 3% caffeine on the other hand, contain powerful antioxidant benefits for skin and, at higher concentrations (3% and above), has the potential to alleviate puffiness around the eyes. And we formulated with copper tripeptide-1, which is used for its powerful antioxidant properties and its ability to promote healthy collagen production (reducing the appearance of fine lines) and improve skin elasticity.
Why did you choose to formulate A-Shaba with 0.1% retinol?
