The Prada x Adidas collaboration first release duo will retail online on the respective brand’s stores and in selected Prada stores from 4 December 2019.

Luxury leather goods maker Prada has teamed up with iconic sports brand Adidas to create a special collection – the first releases of which are a pair of sneakers and a bowling bag.

One half of the collaboration duo is the Prada Superstar sneaker, which is an homage to the emblematic Adidas Originals design which was originally launched in 1969.

Prada retained the original iconic Adidas sneaker design for the Superstar sneaker, as the brand said the sneaker “does not require being re-designed – having crossed boundaries and challenged definitions through five decades.”

The product duo also sees the introduction of a new bag silhouette – the Prada Bowling bag for Adidas, an intersection between the Prada Bowling bag and the Adidas gym bag, a stylish and sporty collaboration.

Prada said that the materials for the Superstar sneaker were made in Italy by the brand using full-grain leather, while the Prada Bowling bag for Adidas is made using superior calf leather with a sports nylon strap.

There are only 700 pieces of the duo, both footwear and accessories, each numbered with a unique serial number.

The Prada and Adidas duo products are available in optic white with black detailing for both men and women, and will retail online on the respective brand’s stores and in selected Prada stores from 4 December 2019.
