What are the perks of being a Bentley owner?
Is it the honour to own a stylish, hi-tech vehicle? Or perhaps the prestige that comes with it?
It’s all of the above, and the level of customisation offered by Bentley Motors. The marque prides itself on its attention to detail, which allows owners to truly make their car uniquely theirs from the inside out – and the Continental GT V8 is no exception to this multitude of customisable features. After all, what better way to complement a powerful V8 engine than with a beautifully designed body to house it?
If you look good, you feel good
In order to highlight the sharp, defined, and sculpted elegance of the third generation Continental GT, Bentley offers a spectrum of colours for owners to choose from, giving them a chance to really express themselves on the road. Whether you’re as optimistic as the Kingfisher and Radium shades, or are as sophisticated as Breeze by Mulliner and Moonbeam, there’s a hue for everyone.
To sweeten the deal, owners can also opt for the Blackline Specification and the Styling Specification. The former replaces the exterior body brightware with black-painted trim, which offers a more dramatic character while providing a high degree of visual differentiation.
On the other hand, the Styling Specification adds a sporty edge to the Continental GT V8 while complementing its aerodynamic performance. It features specially commissioned, high gloss, black carbon fibre on the front bumper splitter, side skirts with metallic Bentley badges, rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler.
Embracing your car’s inner beauty
As for the interior, Bentley owners can take their pick with the leather and stitching details, as well as their preferred veneers.
Any interior surface in a Bentley that isn’t metal or wood will always be dressed in the finest soft-touch leather, colour-matched to the owner’s preferences. Apart from some quilting details which are done by machine, all the leather details for each Bentley cabin are hand-sewn, making each cabin a work of art. Owners can also choose the colour combinations of the leather detailing – be it the vivacious hue of Cricket Ball against the dark, rich tones of Porpoise, or a luxurious Beluga throughout married with contrast stitching on the seats.
The veneers don’t go overlooked – with options including a dual finish feature aimed at giving discerning customers the choice to bring one of four highlighted veneers together with Grand Black. The highlight veneer is applied to the upper fascia, with the lower fascia and console veneer in Grand Black. The dual veneer is split by a chrome strip which runs down the length of the fascia and into the doors.
For an extra touch of class, owners are also offered the unique option of the Mulliner Driving Specification. This includes aesthetic details such as quilting on the seats, door casings and rear quarter panels with ‘diamond-in-diamond’ embroidery, sports pedals, embroidered Bentley emblems, a special finish fuel filler cap and metal oil cap.
