Rich Heirs on Instagram: Naomi Biden, lawyer and granddaughter of the US president

At the US presidential inauguration ceremony of January 20, 2021, all eyes of the nation were turned towards Joe Biden as he took on the mantle of Commander in Chief. Proudly stood behind him was his tight-knit family, including several grandchildren who took part in his presidential campaign efforts.

Among them was Naomi Biden, the eldest of his grandchildren, and by all accounts the most visible on social media. Named after her late aunt, the 28-year-old is the daughter of Hunter Biden, the scandal-plagued middle child of Joe Biden. Primed to make her own mark on the world, Naomi’s impressive resume boasts a Doctor of Law degree from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in International Relations and Affairs.

Currently, the Ivy League alum works full-time as an associate attorney at a prestigious law firm in Washington DC. But it’s not just her professional career that’s taking off. Last year, she and long-time boyfriend Peter Neal announced their engagement on social media while showing off a stunning ring and a newly betrothed glow.

So what does life look like for the first granddaughter of the United States? Naomi gives us and her 174,000 followers a glimpse through her Instagram page.

At first glance, it is clear that Naomi’s close bond with her family and her presidential granddad takes priority in her life. Group pictures of the Biden clan abound in her feed, from throwback photos of get-togethers to celebratory occasions such as her sister’s graduation.

If family is Naomi’s first love, one might observe based on her feed that travel comes a close second. Countless photos documenting her visits to far flung destinations are scattered across her Instagram, including ones of her sipping coffee by a windowsill in Italy, braving the rain in Ireland, and luxuriating in a natural mud mask in the Dead Sea in Israel.

More often than not, her recreational activities betray a fondness for being near the water, whether it’s paddleboarding, riding an ATV on the beach, or having a swim on the rooftop pool.
