Now you too can feel and look like your favourite spy.
Watchmaker Omega has announced the release of its new Seamaster Diver 300M Limited Edition timepiece to celebrate its partnership with 007 spy character, James Bond.
The 42mm stainless steel watch has a black rubber strap and features an 18K yellow gold plate in the side of its case, engraved with each Limited Edition number, making each model unique. In true commemoration to the Bond films, there are – you guessed it – only 7,007 pieces of this watch available for purchase.
This timepiece is driven by an Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 and has a power reserve of up to 55 hours. It has a black ceramic bezel with a white enamel diving scale and a spiral-brushed black ceramic dial – laser engraved with Bond’s iconic gun-barrel design. The ceramic dial is exactly 9mm in diameter.
The Seamaster Diver 300M also has a free spring-balance with a silicon balance spring, and automatic winding in both directions. It also features a rhodium plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.
The 18K yellow gold is used for the watch’s hands, hour markers and the Bond family coat-of-arms at 12 o’clock. A surprise feature in this watch is a secret number 50 that is hidden in the luminescent material of the 10 o’clock hour-marker – a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”
OMEGA has been worn by James Bond since GoldenEye released in 1995 which is when Bond was first seen wearing his own Seamaster Diver 300M. Now you too can feel and look like your favourite spy.
