Titled ‘Crossworlds Collection,’ Mell showcases the boundless realm of daydreaming, infused with a haute couture twist.
Here at Crossworlds, trees radiate with unseen hues, and the sun casts vibrant shadows, painting a mesmerising tapestry. As the young girl in the tale navigates between two realities, Melinda effortlessly merges the essence of these two universes, fueled by her unwavering love and passion for high fashion. In her Crossworlds AU, the once unconventional clash of prints and coloured jacquards now becomes a harmonious symphony in this new realm of possibility.
There’s also a series of ethereal dresses adorned with prints inspired by the very essence of Wonderland’s auras. Each dress is a burst of colour, injecting vibrancy into her new world. From colourful tops to cropped jackets, each piece is adorned with delicate ribbons – symbolising Alice’s innocence in the movie. Oh, there’s also a collection of stunning long dresses, designed to celebrate the divine essence of the feminine silhouette. In this new world, every girl is free to strut around in bold, bright, and beautiful gowns.

‘Crossworlds Collection’ by Mell is curated by three young designers, Cassandra Ngiaw, Fara Riad, and Tan Yen Li under the leadership of Melinda Looi.
