In case you haven’t heard, Pantone has announced the most trending colour of the year for 2018 and it’s this cool, galactic Ultra Violet (Pantone 18-3838). Described as a symbol of “experimentation and non-conformity”, the colour provokes an artistic expression of individuality – and that’s what makeup is all about.
“We are living in a time that requires inventiveness and imagination. It is this kind of creative inspiration that indigenous to Pantone 18-3838 Ultra Violet, a blue-based purple that takes our awareness and potential to a higher level,” Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman said.
