Word has it that Louis Vuitton will be dropping a new gaming merchandise with their Fall/Winter 2019 collection: a colourful, chic Jenga set brandished with the brand’s iconic logo. That’s right, your inner old-school gaming geek and swanky fashion sense can finally find common ground – if you’re willing to fork out $2,460.
For nearly 250 times the original price tag, you’ll get 54 plexiglass pieces to replace the classic wooden ones. These come encased in a stylish transparent box fitted with a leather handle for travelling or to double as home décor.
However, some reports claim that the brand’s monogrammed version is not actually licensed, so you could be paying a large sum for a rip off. Still, we can already foresee it selling out just because of the LV stamp. And, well, it’s a pretty Instagrammable prop.

This isn’t the first move by a luxury fashion house to sell a gaming product. Hermes has previously launched a $68,300 foosball table and $1,050 dice game set, while Supreme has made almost everything else from a domino set to a cash gun.
Let’s not forget the non-gaming products that were basically designer versions of commonplace objects, like Prada’s $185 oversized paper clip and Supreme’s $30 brick. The question is: would you pay the extra extra cost for these?
