Malaysia witnessed a sporting milestone as Paramount Property’s inaugural Paramount Cup 2025 ignited the courts of PLAYA Racquet Club at PARC Subang with four electrifying days of world-class pickleball.
From 23 to 26 October, more than 700 players from around the world converged for a festival of sport, community, and competition. They battled it out across 17 categories including singles, doubles, and mixed doubles for a share of the record-breaking RM112,500 prize pool.

The event didn’t just crown champions; it celebrated the grand opening of Malaysia’s first purpose-built pickleball hub, where professional-grade courts met tropical, beach-club vibes. The result was an unforgettable blend of athleticism, camaraderie, and culture that marked a defining moment for the nation’s fast-growing pickleball scene.
Paramount Property’s vision: Building more than spaces
As title sponsor and driving force behind the event, Paramount Property envisioned the Paramount Cup 2025 as more than a competition. It reflected the company’s philosophy as “The People’s Developer”, a commitment to creating spaces and experiences that bring communities together through wellness and shared passion.

Paramount Property CEO Chee Siew Pin reflected on the event’s impact:
“The Paramount Cup 2025 surpassed all expectations. Seeing Malaysian players rise to the occasion against top international talent is exactly what we envisioned – a platform that celebrates competition, community, and connection.”
He added that the strong turnout, from families and youth to senior enthusiasts, embodied the intergenerational spirit that makes pickleball so unique.
“We’re proud to have built not just homes and spaces, but experiences that inspire wellness and unity through sport,” he said.
Partnering with PLAYA Racquet Club, the event also marked the official opening of PLAYA Racquet Club at PARC Subang, the second facility under the PLAYA brand. Designed to merge sport and lifestyle, the venue features premium courts, community spaces, and a relaxed tropical aesthetic that encourages play, connection, and recreation.

PLAYA Racquet Club Director Brian Choo described the atmosphere as “electric from start to finish.”
“The Open categories showcased world-class pickleball right here on Malaysian soil, and our local players proved they belong on that stage. PLAYA was designed to bring sport and lifestyle together, and this tournament showed just how powerful that combination can be.”
Additionally, the event was supported by an impressive roster of partners, including Auto Bavaria BMW as Automotive Partner, Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie as Official Hotel Partner, and performance brands Baseline, RIVAL KL, JOOLA, and Franklin. Together, they helped deliver a professional and high-energy tournament experience.
