IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to debut the luxury lifestyle hotel brand Kimpton in Malaysia, with a property located right in the heart of our central business district. Officially dubbed Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, this new hotel will be a latest landmark to join Tun Razak Exchange’s bustling area while enjoying the unmatched connectivity offered by its central location. The property is slated for opening in Q4 of this year.
Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur is a 26-storey, 466-room property that will additionally house unique experiences from its dining options down to its facilities. The name itself – a portmanteau of two Malay words naluri (instinct) and ria (joy) – is a reflection of its philosophy to follow ones instinct towards the pursuit of joy. Heading the property is General Manager Paul Cunningham, who brings with him more than three decades of experience in hospitality in his postings around Asia.

The launch will also introduce Kimpton’s signature stay services and experiences, including Kimpton Kickstart, which offers complimentary coffee and tea every morning, as well as Kimpton Social, a daily evening social that feature curated drinks and engaging conversation.
The interior designed is headed by award-winning design firm Hassell Studio, who pulls inspiration from Malaysia’s rich natural landscapes. The property aims to blend the vibrancy of the city with lush nature to create an urban haven for all guests that walk through its doors. Expect organic textures, earthy stones, and an abundance of greenery to decorate Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur’s halls.
The Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur offers 466 rooms, signature perks and services, as well as world-class facilities.
Guestrooms are equipped with the necessary amenities, while guests can also enjoy the 'Forgot It, We've Got It!' service to complete any missing travel amenities.
Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur's interior aims to be an urban haven, inspired by Malaysia's lush nature, for all guests and visitors.
Four restaurants will debut with the hotel’s opening, including Four Siblings which is Kimpton Naluria’s rooftop bar & lounge. Tuai + Till, which offers all-day dining, is a transforming restaurant that starts with a breakfast spread in the morning before transitioning into two distinct dining experiences of Tuai, a cozy Malaysian café, and Till, an elegant Western brasserie. Third is Rise & Grind, a grab-and-go espresso bar concept eatery where you can fuel up quickly for the day ahead. You can also expect a specialty retro Italian-American restaurant within the property, but more details will yet to be revealed.
The property also houses five event spaces, while offering facilities like a fitness centre, dedicated yoga terrace and an infinity pool, with panoramic views from the rooftop as an added bonus.
The Kimpton brand was born in 1981 and founded by Bill Kimpton in San Francisco as a pioneer in the boutique hotel industry. With unique properties around the globe, each Kimpton hotel is anchored around one-of-a-kind experiences within distinct, design-forward properties. Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur is part of the brand’s expansion in Asia which started with the opening of Kimpton Da’An in Taipei.
