Walk us through the idea of forming Callie Care. How did it come about?
The idea comes from personal experience. I’ve always been very passionate about my skin and the skincare products I choose to put on my skin. Not everyone knows but I actually suffered from bad acne which subsequently resulted in hyperpigmentation after recovery. Plus, I wanted to create a product that specifically targets anti-aging. This is how the idea of Callie Care came about.
Tell us more about these two new products. Why did you choose these two products especially to kick off the brand?
We wanted to slowly introduce Callie Care to the market and build trust and a positive reputation, instead of impressing people with a whole range of skincare. We conducted extensive research, trials, and sought opinions from doctors and researchers, as well, and we all agreed that a serum and moisturiser should be the focal point of our skincare routine.
These two products are essential for healing your skin, regardless of your skin condition. The serum penetrates deep into the skin’s layers, whereas the moisturiser remains on the surface to lock in moisture and provide nourishment.
How does Callie Care differ from other skincare brands?
Our products are not simply use-and-reuse. We apply a great amount of pressure in order to generate a product that suits all types of skin, gender and backgrounds. This includes incorporating the best biological ingredient, Doctor-approved and eco-friendly packaging.
When I created Callie Care, I wanted to target women and men who have busy schedules and just want something that’s easy for their lifestyle. You know when you’re busy and barely find time to pamper yourself? Well, Callie Care says, “I will take care of your skin,” thus preventing wrinkles and ageing from forming. What is XOSOME™?

But with Callie Care, I want people to feel comfortable and depart from the use of injections, hence why I decided to put the potent inside a bottle!
How difficult is it to venture from Callie Mask to Callie Care?
It feels different, but in a good way. For Callie Mask, we prioritised the facilities aspect, such as mask production and daily mask quantity control. However, skincare is about establishing your own brand identity without relying heavily on others. It’s important to gain the trust of our users.
Skincare products require special attention and care, like serums, moisturisers, facial cleansers, etc. Each product needs careful consideration to be effective. Also, as a skincare brand we need to study our target market. That’s why I aim to create a gender fluid friendly brand.
One thing to note about both Callie Mask and Callie Care is your advocacy on simpler lifestyles.
Yes, of course. I believe it’s important for more people to understand the benefits of minimalism. This applies not only to our lifestyle but also to our skincare and surroundings. You don’t have to follow a complicated 10-step skincare routine every day. Using too many products can actually clog your skin. It’s better to focus on a few products that you feel most comfortable with.
What’s your regular beauty routine looks like?
I simply wash my face, apply my moisturiser, a serum and a sunscreen!
What are your hopes for Callie Care in the future?
I want to expand the brand’s reach to a wider audience in the United States. It’s surprising that we already have customers from the States, but they can only purchase Callie Care through online orders. So I think opening a shop or partnering with a direct seller in the States would be a wise decision for the future.
Just a fun question, If Callie Care were to partner with any brands, which ones would it be?
Nike! A skincare brand and sneaker brand merging together would look awesome!
