The Holiday Inn brand continues to represent a remarkable expansion engine for IHG Hotels & Resorts. With 26 Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts and 14 Holiday Inn Express buildings in its pipeline across Southeast Asia—representing 50% of IHG Hotels & Resorts signings in the area—the brand recently unveiled a stellar initiative.
This year alone, seven of its biggest draws have been announced, including Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Karon Beach, Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Surin Beach, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bangkok Central Pier, Holiday Inn Resort Bali Canggu, Holiday Inn Lampung Bukit Randu, and Holiday Inn Sepang, Airport. With 22 Holiday Inn Express hotels now operating and 14 more on the way, the brand is a solid option for travellers who seek everything they need.
Rajit Sukumaran, Managing Director, South East Asia & Korea, IHG Hotels & Resorts said, “It’s wonderful to see the Holiday Inn brand family continuing to grow from strength to strength in South East Asia. We have opened fantastic hotels last year in Ho Tram in Vietnam, Cebu in Philippines, Koh Samui and Krabi in Thailand, and are collaborating with partners whose confidence to convert and build more properties across the region will ensure it keeps growing at pace. We’re seeing great interest from owners in a wide range of destinations, including resorts where our Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts brand continues to be much loved by families and groups alike.’’
Outside South East Asia, there are 33 operating Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts hotels in South East Asia, with another 26 on the way. The brand offers exceptional value for business travellers who demand flexible work areas, as well as families.
