The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Plug-in Hybrid features longer electric range

For the last ten years, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class model family has been the best-selling models in Malaysia. The new C350e has an AMG Line exterior and a Night Package, making it sportier than ever. Exteriors

With its signature Mercedes-Benz pattern grille, chrome star design, and 18-inch AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, the new C-Class’s AMG Line style adds even more dynamic appeal. Sporty, eye-catching design features in high-gloss black are part of the Night Package. These elements include the radiator shell’s louvre, the AMG front apron’s trim moulding, the window surround and beltline trim strip, and the outside mirror housings.

Additional notable features on the outside are the panoramic sliding sunroof, adaptive highbeam assist plus, DIGITAL LIGHT, ambient lighting, and brand logo projection. Mercedes-Benz saloons typically have this rear-end layout. The tail lamps’ exquisite design captivates with its distinctive appearance both during the day and at night.

Interiors

AMG line interior elements in the new C-Class include a multifunction sports steering wheel covered in nappa leather, AMG floor mats, and metal structural trim pieces. There is a six-degree tilt to the 11.9-inch touchscreen central display and the high-resolution 12.3-inch LCD panel in the direction of the driver.

Sport seats, front wireless charging, ambient lighting, a fingerprint scanner, and a smartphone integration package are some of the other highlights of the interior. Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, a 360° camera, and GUARD 360° vehicle protection are among the safety-focused features of the new C-Class.

Engine

There is a noticeable increase in electric driving experience. With an improvement in electric range of up to 117 kilometers (WLTP), most daily trips can be completed by drivers without using petrol-fuel. During braking or driving downhill, kinetic energy can be recovered thanks to the energy recovery feature. This process has recently been enhanced in conjunction with the hydraulic brake. At present, the output of energy recovery exceeds 100 kW.

This cutting-edge car is powered by a 1,999 cc engine that produces a rated 150 kW (204 horsepower) at 6,100 rpm and a strong 320 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm.

The C350e’s responsiveness is demonstrated by its quick acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, which takes only 6.1 seconds. Its maximum speed of 245 km/h further expands its range of capabilities.
