In the realm of luxury jewellery, Cartier’s Trinity ring stands as a beacon of timeless design and elegance. Crafted in 1924, the ring was simply an interlocked ring composed of three bands: rose gold, white gold and yellow gold. The Trinity ring was the first of its kind, a straightforward symbol of love and enduring relationships.
As the Trinity ring turns 100, Cartier unveils a reimagined rendition of the beloved masterpiece, including square, modular and XL versions. These new designs not only honour the rich heritage of Cartier but also signal a new era of ingenuity, marrying classic elegance with contemporary flair.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the iconic piece, Cartier honours its heritage with three almost-simultaneous events across the globe, in the very cities where the Cartier brothers – Louis, Pierre and Jacques – established the Maison’s foundational sites in the early 20th century: rue de la Paix in Paris, Fifth Avenue in New York and New Bond Street in London.
From the vibrant streets of New York to the historical charm of London, the Maison invites its ambassadors and friends to a party of global proportions, with performances by music talents such as Sia, Labrinth and Diplo, as well as the dance collective La Horde.
Along with the parties, the celebrations comprise an experiential pop-up in the Marais district of Paris showcasing a glimpse into the latest Cartier Trinity jewellery creations.
