RIMOWA’s luxury designs have been coveted by the world’s most discerning travellers since 1898. The luxury German luggage brand is now happy to present a cross-category capsule collection that reimagines the Original suitcase and the Personal Cross-Body Bag in a striking new Quartz Pink tint.
The Original Suitcase has been a cultural symbol since its introduction in 1950. This favourite travel companion is now available in an appealing shade of pink inspired by Quartz, a valuable gemstone known as the ‘Universal Crystal’ due to its tremendous healing properties. As a result, the suitcase’s shining metallic aluminium exterior is enhanced by RIMOWA’s distinctive grooves, giving it the appearance of exquisite jewellery.
The Original suitcase, which is both durable and light, was designed and engineered in Germany using RIMOWA’s renowned expert processes. The newest case exemplifies the Maison’s technical innovation and craftsmanship, with various surface treatments done to lock the pigment into the metal alloy and ensure a lasting metallic sheen, as well as a number of cutting-edge functionalities– from the pioneering Multiwheel System to a flawlessly colour-matched telescopic handle.
The Personal Cross-Body Bag is also available in Quartz for a unified travel style. The bag has two open compartments, a zipped pocket, and three card slots inside a grooved aluminium shell to keep daily items safe. A pink-hued, detachable leather strap completes the look.
The new Quartz collection will first be accessible through an exclusive three-month RIMOWA pop-up on Mytheresa, which will include a three-day pre-launch on the luxury fashion retailer’s platform three days before the launch in RIMOWA stores in Germany, online at RIMOWA.com, and at Mytheresa.com.
RIMOWA Original Cabin in Quartz (MYR 5,300), RIMOWA Original Check-In M in Quartz (MYR 6,100), RIMOWA Original Trunk Plus in Quartz (MYR 8,600), and RIMOWA Personal Cross-Body Bag in Quartz (MYR 6,800) will be available in-store and online at RIMOWA.com starting June 23rd.
The Original Quartz series will be available in Malaysia at the RIMOWA Store at The Gardens Mall beginning June 23rd.
