The official dates for Fashionably Modest Asia (FMA) are finally set in stone. It is to take place from 18th to 20th November at Pavilion Arena, Pavilion Damansara Heights. It is a platform for designers to celebrate modest elegance that is both contemporary and powerful.

Celebrating diversity in collaboration with ASEAN designers
With diversity and inclusivity as anchors, FMA 2025’s vision is to highlight modest contemporary designs. Mr. Andrew Tan, FMA Lifestyle Advisor, stated that FMA 2025 celebrates fashion that empowers women in self-assurance while fostering cultural exchange and regional collaboration.
Though the theme was about quiet confidence, the event proudly stands for empowerment and cultural expression. FMA 2025 brings together designers across countries, collaborating with other ASEAN designers. The names include Khaar from Vietnam, Benang Jarum from Indonesia, Na Forrer from Brunei, and Chris Nicks from the Philippines. Each designer will narrate their unique culture through their design philosophies on the runway.

FMA 2025 goes hand in hand with the era of sustainability, where featured designers are challenged to use dead-stock fabrics from their archives to create two original pieces. The showcase redefines modest wear through creativity and environmental awareness.
The event will open with a visionary collection by Malaysia’s top stylist, Min Luna, who brings brings an eye for modest yet fashion-forward looks. Previously, the renowned stylist has collaborated with respected Malaysian designers – including TACT, Ezzati Amira, Afiq M, SVG, Huntilanak, Behati, and more. Throughout the course of three days, FMA 2025 will feature an impressive lineup including Shals, with its chic and youthful approach to everyday modest wear; Fuzana Mokhtaza, known for feminine elegance with strong bridal and eveningwear influences; and Sharifah Kirana, acknowledged for her contemporary takes on traditional Malaysian textiles.
Other designers include Maglifestyle, Khatreena, Variante, N.Khan, and Radzuan Radziwill, whose couture-level craftsmanship brings prestige and artistry to the Fashionably Modest Asia 2025 runway.
