A new ‘little secret’ is making its rounds in the world of haute horology recently, and today it is unveiled to be the newest Aqua Terra range of watches joining Omega’s repertoire. The Omega Seamaster Aquaterra 30mm introduces a new size to the collection, smaller and more delicate, alongside brand-new calibres that aim to make the watch thinner and more elegant.
Since 1902, Omega has been shaping the world of women’s watches, a demographic for whom the wristwatch was first invented. Through the legacy of collections like the Ladymatic, Constellation, and Aqua Terra which have introduced designs and sizes for ladies across the years, becoming a firm favourite for watch wearers of all kinds.

This launch re-introduces the Aqua Terra – a collection made for daily wear for those that demand the same level of function and finishing as the more professional Seamaster – to women today, for a market that’s increasingly demanding smaller watches.
The Aqua Terra 30mm debuts in 12 variations across stainless steel, Moonshine Gold, Sedna Gold, and two-tone designs mixing these iconic Omega materials. The full 18K Sedna Gold model in particular is an eye-catching one, pairing the unique pink gold shade with a sun-brushed dial that perfectly accents it. The Moonshine Gold reference with green dial, diamond-set bezel, and diamond hour markers is another standout piece that’ll shine on the wrist for your next gala.

Under the polished cases, the collection is powered by one of two new Master Chronometer movements, the calibre 8750 for stainless steel and two-tone models, and the calibre 8751 for the Sedna and Moonshine Gold models. Designed specifically for the 30mm case, these 20mm-diameter calibres are thinner than previous Omega calibres for the same size, sitting at 3.98mm and 4.08mm respectively.

Despite its small size, these movements are Master Chronometer certified, and feature Omega’s Co Axial escapement, free-sprung balance with silicone balance spring, and automatic winding in both directions. The movement can be seen through the sapphire glass case back.
The Aqua Terra launches today with the intriguing ‘my little secret’ campaign, featuring six industry-defining women across music, fashion, and cinema, playing with the key theme that some things are too beautiful to keep hidden. The campaign features Ashley Graham, Danielle Marsh, Tems, Ariana DeBose, Marisa Abela, and Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, each donning their chosen Aqua Terra 30mm watch that matches their style.
