There’s nothing more celebratory in style than being unapologetically yourself, in all your shapes, tones, colours, and dimensions. And it’s this idea of the richness of diversity that Bvlgari aims to celebrate and commemorate in its latest high jewellery collection, Polychroma.

Named from the Greek words ‘poly’ and ‘chromia’, which means ‘a multitude of colours’, the Bvlgari Polychroma collection comprises of pieces that bring together deep, vibrant, and rich colour with the concepts of polymorphism and multidimensionality to present radiant beauty. In other words, breathtaking jewellery pieces crafted from expertly shaped rare and exceptional gems that reflect the Italian house’s unparalleled techniques that transform raw beauty into wearable pieces of art.
The collection consists of several high jewellery pieces, alongside high-end watches (which includes sapphire and emerald versions of the Serpenti Aeterna watch that we first saw during Watches & Wonders 2025), with five key pieces representing the heart of the collection, each featuring stunning gemstones of varying colours.

The first is the Bvlgari Cosmic Vault necklace, from which Bvlgari creative director Lucia Silvestri found inspiration in the constellations and the Roman skyline. The centrepiece is a stunning 123.35-carat Sri Lankan sapphire, presenting an intense royal blue colour in a sugarloaf cut, which lends a sinuous softness to the gem, imparting a velvet-like text that catches light in a mesmerising way. Fitted with 331 buff-top sapphires chosen for their unique shades of blue, alongside 13 diamond drops, the Cosmic Vault necklace alternates in a fitting tribute to astral beauty.

The Bvlgari Celestial Mosaic necklace is joy and grace in a collier, in a colourful design inspired by the 18th century Tree of Life mosaic in Jericho. The blooming central gem stone is a 131.21-carat spinel from Tajikistan – holding the world’s first title when it comes to quality – which seems to radiate a kaleidoscope of colours. Surrounded by more than 200 other elements that goes rioght down to the joints that flexes and fit perfectly, this piece is embodies Polychroma in many ways.

The third piece is described as “one of Polychroma’s emblems” by Lucia Silvestri, and the Polychromatic Bloom necklace is an ode to beauty and femininity. Instead of one central gem, it houses three: a 106.36-carat rubellite, a 55.52-carat peridot and a 55.11-carat tanzanite, all in a stunningly clear cabochon cut. The designs play with both organic shapes, seen in the blossoming petals surround the three gems; as well as geometrically sharp lines, seen in the contrastingly modern shape of the chain itself.

The fourth piece is the Essence of Yellow, a brand new interpretation of the Trombino ring, presenting a breathtaking 45-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond at the heart. An extremely rare gemstone with a 1 in 8 million chance of appearing, this ring takes the Trombino silhouette through an unexpected route of using an emerald Asscher cut for the gem, which allows for the colour intensity of the diamond to truly shine. Surrounded by 42 diamonds, the Essence of Yellow feels as if you have the sun on your fingers, with that strikingly unique yellow imbuing joy into every moment.

And last but not least, is the Magnus Emerald (which made its red carpet debut at the Met Gala around the neck of Bvlgari ambassador Priyanka Chopra-Jonas). Sitting at a whopping 241.06 carats, this Colombian emerald is a showstopper. Vibrantly green, astonishingly clear and bright, the Magnus Emerald presents the gemstone in a classical-meets-modern silhouette that combines timeless diamond rivière, bold architectural design and a fluid sautoir shape that fully amplifies the perfection of the emerald that sits at the centre.

Aside from these five pieces of key high jewellery, Polychroma also presents several other new additions, including the Nuvole Preziose pendant watch, the Notte Stellata Diva watch, and the Gioco de Forme e Colori secret watch, and the Tubogas e Colori manchette watch to the jewellery watch collection. But the essence of Polychroma cannot just be confined to necks and hands, as the addition of high jewellery bags and eyewear to the collection proves. Gold and detachable jewellery closures designed in Bvlgari’s iconic silhouettes adds a touch of colourful lustre to leather bags and the Serpenti sunglasses.
Finally, Polychroma is celebrated through the sense of smell alongside that of sight, in the form of one-of-a-kind fragrances housed in individually crafted flacons, topped by a jewelled snake from which hangs a detachable brooch. The Bvlgari Polychroma collection is indeed a celebration of the joie de vivre that comes from embracing your colours, and the multitudes of them that enrich and make life brighter.
