If you’re heading to Seoul between 19 April and 13 July 2025, there’s one must-see event you won’t want to miss. Following celebrated showings in Paris, London, Shanghai, New York, Tokyo, and more, the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition will be making its long-awaited debut in Seoul, South Korea at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
Curated by Florence Müller with scenography by Shohei Shigematsu of renowned architectural firm OMA, this immersive experience traces the extraordinary legacy of the House of Dior.

From the revolutionary New Look that redefined post-war fashion to today’s contemporary couture, this exhibition that will be held in one of Seoul’s most striking cultural landmarks spans more than 75 years of haute couture history and creative evolution.
Visitors can expect a beautifully staged journey through themes that have defined Dior’s timeless allure: Christian Dior’s love for flowers and gardens, his fascination with extravagant balls, and the exquisite craftsmanship of the ateliers.

Each gallery weaves together archival pieces, stunning haute couture garments, original sketches, and multimedia displays – offering a rare and intimate look at the artistry behind the brand.
What makes the Seoul edition particularly special is its celebration of Korean artistry. For the first time, the section dedicated to the iconic Lady Dior bag will spotlight reinterpretations by Korean artists, including contributions from HyunJoo Kim, Soo Sunny Park, and Zadie Xa.
With 26 exclusive works showcased through the Dior Lady Art and Lady Dior As Seen By projects, the exhibit highlights the creative dialogue between Dior and Korea’s vibrant contemporary art scene.

The exhibition also pays homage to Dior’s rich fragrance legacy, featuring a dazzling display of iconic perfume bottles, artifacts, and couture looks worn by House muses like Rihanna and Natalie Portman.
