To mark the Year of the Snake, Burberry unveils a vibrant capsule collection in collaboration with renowned Chinese artist Qian Lihuai. Dominated by red for luck and prosperity, the collection features a reimagined Burberry Check and a symbolic “B snake” motif. It offers a versatile range of pieces, including outerwear, a trench dress, and jersey separates, with select styles also available in miniature proportions.
Qian Lihuai’s contribution includes nine bamboo art structures, part of the “Us” series, featured in the campaign starring actor and Brand Ambassador Zhang Jinyi, photographed by Walter Pfeiffer. These artworks also adorn the windows of key Burberry flagship stores in China.

Inspired by the snake’s attributes of intelligence, transformation, and adaptability, Max Mara’s CNY collection merges heritage with contemporary style. The collection features a special edition of the 101801 Icon Coat, reimagined with a custom silk twill lining and striking floral embroidery.
The Teddy Bear Icon Coat is also updated with this elegant lining in a short version. Both coats come in vibrant red, symbolising joy and prosperity. Completing the offering are sweaters, dresses, and T-shirts featuring delicate floral prints and embroidered interpretations of the letter “M,” adding a modern, artistic touch.

The Lunar New Year capsule collection by Tory Burch celebrates the Year of the Snake with a refined selection of handbags, footwear, ready-to-wear, jewellery, and accessories symbolising luck, wisdom, and prosperity.
Notable pieces showcase a crystal-embellished serpent adorning a handbag clasp and enamel handles on a satin mini tote, echoing the snake’s graceful curves. The motif continues in an embellished wool cardigan and jewellery, complemented by standout pieces from the mainline collection, including the popular T Monogram family.

Miu Miu
Miu Miu welcomes this CNY with a festive collection that features oversized sweaters, blouson jackets, preppy tweeds, jewel-encrusted denim, aged leather, and cotton poplin pieces. The lineup is styled with signature ballerinas, loafers, strappy kitten heels, Plume and New Balance X Miu Miu sneakers.
Exclusive iterations of the Penny, Wander, and Arcadie bags take centre stage, while crochet-knit serpents, personalised Chinese knots, and cotton underwear in lucky red, among others, complete the collection.
The collection is showcased in The Encounter (如期而遇), a short film directed by Shujun Wei and featuring brand ambassadors Liu Haocun and Zhao Jinmai. To enhance the campaign, Miu Miu has also introduced immersive experiences across China, including live performances, cultural events, and interactive showcases designed to foster community connections.

Dolce&Gabbana
Dolce&Gabbana’s 2025 Lunar New Year Special Collection celebrates the Year of the Snake with peony and snake motifs symbolising wisdom and vitality. Featuring brocade, chambray, and silk twill, the collection spans from Ready-to-Wear for all to Bags and Accessories, infusing festive spirit into timeless designs.
The collection also includes a collaboration with Chinese illustrator Sun Jiayi, who created four illustrations – Reunion, Celebration, Love Knot, and The Fireworks – drawing on her childhood memories of family reunions. These artworks inspired the animated short film Ride Your Dreams Home.
To further celebrate the season, Dolce&Gabbana launched the “DG Fireworks Gift Box” WeChat Mini-Program, allowing users to share virtual fireworks blessings for the new year.

Golden Goose’s Year of the Snake collection blends contemporary style with cultural heritage, featuring medium-wash denim with Snake embroidery, a genderless round-neck sweatshirt, worn-white T-shirts with red floral embroidery, and a beige virgin wool sweater with an abstract snakeskin print, among others.
At the heart of the collection is the iconic Ball Star sneaker, reimagined in white leather with snake-print details, red stitching, and matching laces. Accessories include a soft beige alpaca wool scarf with a snake-printed logo tab and a brass snake-shaped pin entwined around a white pearl.

For the Year of the Snake, LOEWE has collaborated with Master Xiong Songtao to create cloisonné works, including a Nest bag with snake and lotus details and necklaces featuring snake, monkey, and cloud motifs.
The collection also includes cloisonné-inspired ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, and special edition bags, such as cloud- and snake-shaped clutches, and Puzzle and Pebble Bucket bags with 3D clouds and snake chains.
Accompanying the collection is the short film Spring Awakening: Dance of the Snake, blending dance, kite-making, and shadow puppetry to celebrate spring. Starring dancer Xie Xin, the film tells the story of a snake welcomed by forest animals, with shadow puppets by artist Danno and props by Zhang Xiaodong, a representative of Weifang kite-making, recognised by China’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage project.
