Delicious goodness in a bowl, good for both you and your Instagram feed.
If you’re all ready to switch things up for a healthier way of life, the easiest way is to start off with something sweet. Açai bowls are perfect because they have all the goodness in an easy-to-carry bowl that tastes as good as it looks.
Açaí, a superfood that hails all the way from Brazil is basically thick smoothie in a bowl or glass. It is the true happy ‘meal’ with its colourful layering of fruits and organics mostly made for breakfast or opted for as a snack. On top of that, unlike your average toasted bread and sunny side up dishes to fuel your stomach the morning after, this superfood is refreshing and is rich in antioxidants.
Here we have for you five spots around KL to get your dose of açaí bowls. And if driving out to get it is too much trouble, simply make some at home.
Goodness Greens Cafe
Founded by the people behind cold press juice – La Juiceria – Goodness Greens Cafe is known for their Pittaya Bowl that comes with red dragon fruit, coconut oil, granola’s strawberries, bee pollen and chia seeds; while the Açaí Berry Bowl sees Açaí berries from Brazil, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, maple syrup and bananas.
