Joining forces for the third time, Tory Burch and TWG Tea have come up with another limited edition afternoon tea experience that will delight every fashion fan and afternoon tea aficionado.

As with the previous two crossovers in 2017 and 2019, the elegant Grand Afternoon Tea Set was created in conjunction with a recently released Tory Burch collection. This year, the fashion brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection titled ‘An Imagined Journey’ serves as the inspiration for the tea set, which combines the best of TWG Tea’s trendsetting tea gastronomy and Tory Burch’s sophisticated style.

According to Tory Burch, the collection draws from the ingenuity and legacy of Claire McCardell on women’s dressing:

“She discarded the rules of what women should wear, instead problem-solving for the reality of their lives. Her designs instilled a sense of freedom, encouraged self-expression and empowered women with a casual elegance that is as relevant today as it was in the late 1940s.”

The collection’s prints are a nod to Claire McCardell’s love of stripes, complemented by a joyful colour palette of red, fuchsia, lavender, blue, green, and chartreuse.

Reflecting the striking colour combinations of the collection, the Grand Afternoon Tea Set features eye-catching treats with bright, tea-infused flavours. These include the Lemon Bush Tea-infused cheesecake with a buttery biscuit base and strawberry jelly, the Vanilla Bourbon Tea-infused peach crumble with crème pâtissière, the lobster brioche bun rolls with Royal Darjeeling Tea-infused crème fraiche, and the smoked salmon blini with Orange Tea-infused soubise and dill.
