Multi-faceted actress Zendaya is introduced in The Valentino Pink PP collection’s advertising campaign video, following her win at the 74th Emmy Awards for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for the second time in three years for Euphoria. Her win this year makes her the youngest two-time winner in the category as she continues to set trends both in film and fashion.
In the video, Zendaya is seen fronting a power suit combo, featuring gloves, jewellery, platform heels, and a whole lot of pink, exuding elegance and beauty. The Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, elevated the charm of the loveable colour in an all-pink collection showcasing his exquisite craftsmanship.
The campaign video features Zendaya in a monochromatic background, which contrasts with the expressive, enigmatic fuchsia featured throughout the rest of it. Directed by Marcell Rév, she enters a dark, dreary room in flowing garb, a piece from the brand’s fall collection. Her exploration continues as she immerses herself in the lively world around her, walking through rooms, exploring the painting frames and ornaments in the spaces. Set to the sound of Yazoo’s Only You, the graceful actress is seen swinging along to the song, showcasing the beauty of Zendaya in the elegant all-pink collection.
The well-known star quickly reached unparalleled heights since her days with Disney, making her a jack-of-all-trades, participating in acting, singing and fashion. The 26-year-old is also listed in TIME magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Additionally, the Valentino PP Collection features Formula One racer, Sir Lewis Hamilton, as the first Valentino menswear ambassador.
