Fashion’s biggest night out is back after a two-year hiatus.
The fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art has always made its most glamourous attendees work for their carpet moment – remember ‘Camp’ in 2019? – and this year is no different.
This year’s theme ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’ sounds simple enough but it is in this seeming simplicity that things get complicated. What exactly is the lexicon of fashion in America?
It could be anything, from celebrity, pop culture, history, current events. Not everyone can get it right but who’s to say there is a wrong from the subjective right?
