What do you do when you inherit a million-dollar salmon farming business at 19? Gustav Magnar Witzøe would have a suggestion or two.
While most 25-year-olds are still trying to find their footing in the great big world, this Norwegian heir is attending board meetings for a million-dollar aquaculture company. In fact, Gustav Magnar Witzøe is one of the youngest billionaires in the world.
At 19, he was gifted 47% of SalMar ASA – a salmon fishing company that exports everywhere from Asia to Europe. Forbes reported that he was worth $1.6 billion in 2017. He has also taken an interest in tech and property investing, having backed Norwegian start-ups Gobi and Keybutler.
Business aside, the blonde heir’s looks has also caught some attention. According to his 49.6k-follower Instagram page (@guswitzoe), Gus Jr favours fashion, tattoos, travel, and the occasional round of golf. Oh, he also models.
Gustav has Witzøe Sr to thank for his title as one of the Rich Heirs of Instagram. Naturally, they go on fishing trips together – it’s their bread and butter.
Thought we suspect he may well be a mama’s boy at heart.
Hey Mama, I wanna scream so loud for you, cause I’m so proud of you 🎼

You’ll find Gus looking fly at all times, whether it’s at fashion shows of his favourite brands…
…or posing for magazine-ready shots in all his casual glory.
Did we mention he’s covered in tattoos? We all know full sleeves and cigarettes maketh a bad boy.
Though we must admit, the guy cleans up pretty well.
We imagine the sea is Gustav’s second home by now. You don’t inherit a salmon farm without your fair share of time with the fishes…
Neither do you live the billionaire life without having views broadened – literally as well as figuratively.
If you’re wondering if he’s single, we don’t have the answer right now. However, numerous pictures with (and of) this little friend proves Gustav Magnar Witzøe always have a date for wine-and-poker nights.
