After spending 5 years at the creative helm for Salvatore Ferragamo, Paul Andrew will step down to pursue other professional opportunity, following the completion of the Pre-Spring 2022 collection in early May. While a replacement has yet to be announced, the creative and design direction of the fashion house will continue with the oversight of the existing in-house team.
“I have been profoundly inspired by the intelligence and technical mastery of Salvatore Ferragamo, a man whose genius built the company that today bears his name. It has been an honour to forward and give new life to his design legacy and groundbreaking innovation. I will always be grateful for this opportunity, proud of the work we have accomplished and encouraged to continue to create with integrity and conviction,” said Paul Andrew in a statement.

“Salvatore Ferragamo thanks Paul Andrew for his passion, commitment, and contribution to enhancing the position and creative vision of the house,” commented Micaela le Divelec Lemme, Chief Executive Officer of Salvatore Ferragamo.
In 2016, the British-born designer stepped foot into Salvatore Ferragamo to oversee the brand’s first women’s footwear design, before being promoted to Creative Director. Prior to that, Andrew spent over 10 years working with labels such as Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan. In 2012, he also launched his eponymous shoe brand, which he put on hold when attached to Salvatore Ferragamo.
