A Lancome Beauty Advisor will scan your skin tone with a special tool before the formula is mixed right at the counter for you before your eyes.
For all that makeup can do – hide your flaws and enhance your strengths – there is one pain when it comes to it: choosing the right shade, especially when it comes to foundations.
Lancôme may have the solution to that dilemma once and for all.
It has premiered its Le Teint Particulier foundation that’s revolutionising everything we know about custom-made makeup. It is promising a foundation that is precisely matched to your skintone, right to the moisturising or mattifying levels, depending on your skin’s needs.
To get your exact skin colour, a Lancome Beauty Advisor will scan your skin tone with a special tool. Then the formula is mixed right at the counter for you before your eyes using one of the most unique and sophisticated services we’ve seen in cosmetics yet.
Using an airtight blending and dispensing process, it creates a foundation that is protected against oxidation to maintain colour accuracy, resulting in a formula with customised coverage, finish and moisturisation.
The product itself promises to be long-wearing, breathable, oil-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free formula safe for sensitive complexions, created with a weightless liquid foundation with high-impact pigments that glide on easily to flatter and hydrate.

How revolutionary is that?
It is only available at select Lancome counters in the USA as of right now, but we’re sure it’ll soon take off and come to this side of the world soon enough. We’ll be holding our breaths until that day comes.
