Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph
The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph gets a new colour palette, and it’s all decked out in shades of grey. Monochromatic in grey shades, black ceramic, and white gold, the watch face gets a subtle pop of colour from the pink gold watch hands, chronograph measures and the exposed oscillating weight. The geometric lines of the case creates a fascinating face, using black ceramic that is sintered at 1000C and hand-finished with satin-brushing. This chronograph is powered by Audemars Piguet’s Calibre 2952 which is a mainstay movement for Code 11.59’s chronograph models.
H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Swiss Mad Red Cortina Watch Limited Edition
Independent watchmaker H. Moser & Cie collaborated with Cortina Watch, one of Asia Pacific’s leading watch retailers and longtime partner of Moser, in the creation of the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph. Designed with inspiration from the dynamic shapes and forms of early 20th century speed trains, the Streamliner now makes a debut in the bright and bold Swiss Mad Red dial. Unlike other chronographs, the Streamliner doesn’t have a separate counter for the function, embedding it directly onto the dial. Together with the red second hand and transparent lacquer logo on the face, this chronograph retains the minimalist design philosophy Moser is known for, while still injecting a touch of distinction to the watch. This timepiece is equipped by the calibre HMC 907, created in partnership with AGENHOR, which can be viewed in all its glory through the transparent case back. And as expected from Moser’s stunning releases, the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph is super limited to only 20 pieces.
Maurice Lacroix AIKON Titanium Automatic Chronograph
This is the choice for the city slicker, as Maurice Lacroix’s hugely popular AIKON line of urban watches gets a new addition of the super-lightweight kind with the all-titanium Automatic Chronograph. Fusing two grades of titanium creates a visual contrast along the watch case and bracelet, which pairs nicely with the two available colourways – purple dial with silver counters, and gold dial with black counters. And as the AIKON collection is made to match the demanding urban lifestyle, this timepiece also comes equipped with the ML Easy Strap Exchange system, allowing you to swap out the bracelet for different materials and colours to best match your fast-changing daily needs.
NORQAIN Independence Skeleton Chrono
Adventurous independent watch company Norqain debuts not just a new chronograph, but also a new manufacture with the launch of the Independence Skeleton Chrono. Based on NORQAIN’s sports watch Independence model, the Independence Skeleton is the mark of a milestone for the young brand, debuting a flyback chronograph movement made by the house in partnership with Manufacture AMT. The movement is the NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1), and is only available in two watches at launch, which are the Independence Skeleton Chrono models in titanium DLC and steel. With cutaways in the dial to create the mountain motif and engraved logos on the movement’s pieces, there is much to be admired both aesthetically and functionally too.
