Montblanc recently opened the doors of its newest boutique concept store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, and as the title suggests, it is a sensory treat. The brainchild of French interior designer Noe Duchafour-Lawrance, the store is an immersive retail experience for its customers.

Take a journey with us as we explore the reasons Montblanc’s new store is a treat for the modern gentleman’s senses.
The design is sleek yet classical
The store’s design marries the classical and modern, with sleek hues of black and white, accented by textures of wood in its furniture. The store exudes an air of regal elegance the moment one walks in. The warm tones and atmosphere gently invite the customer to peruse the various Montblanc products on display, from writing instruments, to watches, and an array of leather goods.
It has its very own ink bar
The most eye-catching aspect of the store is its gorgeous ink bar, which is the first one of its kind in Montblanc’s Malaysian stores. A beautiful array of 13 ink shades adorn the backdrop of this bar, cascading down to a selection of 8 types of writing instrument nibs readily available for customers to test and try. Customers can have a seat and get the feel of any of the 8 writing nibs and choose their desired shades right on the spot, before making their purchase. This service has not been given (in-store) in any other Montblanc outlet in Malaysia.
The Minerva Watchmaking Timeline takes one on a journey through time
This section of the boutique takes ones sense on another journey – through time. To the left of the store, is the Minerva Watchmaking Timeline, paying tribute to Montblanc’s 160 years of fine watchmaking history, featuring the display of some it’s most beautiful Swiss timepieces. The history of the brand’s evolution of watches is etched onto the display, as customers can learn about and view its landmark watches through a see-through glass case.
The Leather Atelier
The store also boasts a brand new Leather Atelier, yet another treat for the senses – both touch and scent. The Atelier houses the many leather goods collections by Montblanc including wallets, travel bags and briefcases, and customers can touch and smell the fine leather products. Another special part of the Leather Atelier is Montblanc’s very own personalisation and embossing machine, where customers can emboss their names or initials on any of their chosen Montblanc leather goods, in a variety of fonts and colours.
The Collector’s Corner would be the pride of the modern gent
Part of the Montblanc store experience includes enjoying the Collector’s Corner where special and limited editions of the brand’s writing instruments are displayed for customers to view. The Collector’s Corner showcases the essence of Montblanc’s beginnings as a brand for writing instruments.
The Montblanc Pavilion store is now located at Lot 3.40 & 3.41, 3rd Floor, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Bintang. You can visit their website here.
