In a world where bigger is usually better, one fashion department bags to differ (pun intended). Hot on the list of bag trends thanks to the likes of Jacquemus and Valentino is the mini – scratch that – micro bag.
By micro, we mean bags that, at largest, are cute enough to store your phone, cards and maybe squeeze in a lipstick; and on the other end of the spectrum, make coin purses look like XL tote bags.
Call it outlandish or impractical if you want, but the micro bag trend is clearly taking over high fashion streets. The object of memes has been spotted on celebrities like Rihanna and Kendall Jenner as well as fashion influencers like Aimee Song and Caroline Daur.
