Picture yourself strolling in the streets of Lisbon and daydreaming by the side of a pool or feeling the warmth of sand underfoot, enjoying the spirit of summer. From laidback silhouettes and tones of blue that evoke open skies and ocean depths, the new LV By the Pool collection presents relaxed ready-to-wear pieces, travel essentials and accessories adapted for seaside and city outfitting. All suited to getaways near and far, the collection plays out primarily through updated iterations of the classic Monogram, each with a summery look and an artistic spirit.
Drawing inspiration from azulejos, the famous Spanish and Portuguese ceramic tilework, the collection includes swimwear, silk squares, beach towels and pillows decorated with mosaic patterns. Ready-to-wear pieces strike the appropriate balance between casual sophistication and versatility. Knit layers exude effortless ease, easy to pair with swimwear while crochet garments offer figure-skimming silhouettes. Stylish black and white ensembles express laid-back elegance at their best. Whether you’re on vacation or not, cover-ups like caftans and pareos are essential, and outerwear and separates transition seamlessly between seasons.
The Maison’s signature bags, Speedy, Keepall, Métis and NéoNoé, feature interpretations of the enlarged Monogram trimmed with mosaic patterns. Shades of blue, pink, and beige of the signature motif interpret the cream-coated canvas. Bags, shoes and accessories are adorned with supple raffia-like material made from natural cotton. The Twist bag is crafted from a crochet material showcasing a colourful flower pattern, while the Capucines is revisited in an elevated natural rattan and an enchanting tweed.
Shoe styles like the starboard platform sandals and slip-ons, as well as the newly introduced Isola mule, distinguished by its crafted LV circle atop, complete the wide range of offerings. To enhance the summer ambiance and add a touch of fun, the collection also encompasses lifestyle items like yoga rugs, hammocks, folding chairs and beach racquets. And if that wasn’t sufficient, it introduces a new line of tableware in Porcelaine de Limoges, celebrating the art of hosting and entertaining.
