This October, Malaysia’s pickleball scene will reach new heights as Paramount Property kicks off the Paramount Cup 2025, a tournament set to combine sporting excellence with community spirit. Running from 23 to 26 October at the brand-new PLAYA Racquet Club @ PARC Subang, the four-day event will feature one of the country’s largest prize pools at RM112,500.
More than 820 players will compete across 18 categories in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, segmented by age group and skill level. From juniors to retirees, and from local talent to competitors flying in from Sydney and India, the Paramount Cup 2025 is shaping up to be both a showcase of athletic talent and a festival of community spirit
For Paramount Property, the event reflects its long-standing commitment to fostering connected, thriving communities. Known as The People’s Developer, the company has supported numerous initiatives that encourage active living and togetherness, from the Bukit Banyan Hero Run in Kedah to the KL Car Free Morning. With the Paramount Cup, Paramount has found a perfect match in pickleball – a sport rising rapidly in global popularity thanks to its accessibility and cross-generational appeal.

Paramount Property CEO Chee Siew Pin, who recently picked up the sport, found its unifying nature striking. “Pickleball resonates deeply with us because of its accessibility and ability to connect people of all ages. The Paramount Cup is more than just a tournament – it is a celebration of community spirit, active living, and the joy of coming together. It reflects our belief that true value lies not only in the homes and spaces we create, but in the quality of life and shared experiences they enable.”
That vision is reflected in the choice of venue. At PLAYA Racquet Club @ PARC Subang, expansive courts and 250 seats welcome players and spectators. More than a sports facility, it doubles as a lifestyle hub.
Families come together, residents play casual after-work games, and players unwind with curated food and beverage offerings. Here, sport and social connection come together seamlessly, aligning with Paramount Property’s focus on building communities, not just homes.

With its record-breaking prize pool and 18 playing categories, the Paramount Cup 2025 signals Malaysia’s readiness to embrace pickleball at an international level. For PLAYA Racquet Club, it is also a defining moment.
“Our partnership with Paramount Property is built on shared pillars of community building and promoting wellness,” said PLAYA Racquet Club Director Brian Choo. “This event marks an exciting milestone for us as we showcase our commitment to promoting pickleball and creating vibrant sporting experiences.”
A strong network of partners further elevates the Paramount Cup. Auto Bavaria BMW joins as automotive partner, Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie as hotel partner, while Baseline, RIVAL KL, and JOOLA contribute expertise in tournament operations, sports recovery, and equipment. Together, these collaborations ensure that every aspect of the event, on and off the court, delivers a premium experience.

Looking ahead, Chee sees the potential for something lasting. “If I could, I’d make this an annual event,” Chee said, hinting at the promise of more to come.
Registrations are open until 10 October 2025, or until slots are full, with more details available at Baseline. As the countdown begins, Malaysia gears up for its biggest pickleball showdown – one that will showcase how sport can unite, inspire, and elevate communities. So, are you ready to serve?
