Boasting a customisable watch concept with different case materials, dial colours and strap colours to choose from, watch collectors can now personalise their own elaborate timepiece.
Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen recently unveiled an impressive new addition to their Portugieser collection – the Portugieser Constant-Force Tourbillon.
Boasting a customisable watch concept with different case materials, dial colours and strap colours to choose from, watch collectors can now personalise their own elaborate timepiece.
The case has a diameter of 46mm and is available in red gold or platinum; the dial is available in ardoise, silver, blue or black; and the strap colours include alligator black, dark brown or blue with red gold or platinum stitching on the outside and orange stitching on the inside. What’s more, there are additional options for a personal engraving on the case back too.
On the dial, the watch debuts a double moon display that shows the state of the moon in both northern and southern hemispheres, powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 94800 with a power reserve of 96 hours.
At the heart of the watch, the constant-force mechanism ensures that the watch’s rate is extremely precise with the frequency set at 2.5 Hz to enable the system to wind the balance spring every second.
