Known for his skill in emotive music and tonal imagery, American musician Frank Ocean has unveiled his latest creative project, an “independent American luxury company”, called Homer.
Taking inspirations from “childhood obsessions” and “heritage as a fantasy”, the first offerings from the brand is rather extensive – comprising of a line of scarves as well as Italian-made fine and high jewellery. From lab-grown diamond-encrusted bracelets and colourful enamel pendants, to patterned silk scarves and sculptural gold rings, one can find an assortment of collectibles and treasures ranging from US$435 to an eye-watering US$1.89 million.

The product catalogue, which can be viewed here, was designed and photographed by Ocean himself, with the imagery designed by the musician’s frequent collaborator Tyrone Lebon, who also directed his “Nikes” music video.
Homer opens its store at 70-74 Bowery, the home of New York Jewelers Exchange, staying true to Ocean’s penchant for exclusivity. Shopping is by appointment only, with appointments to be made via messaging the Homer hotline at +1 (212) 410 3300 on Signal.
So if you’ve been planning a trip to the United States, make sure to put this under your radar.
