Masters to thank behind the delicious set meals this Year of the Rooster is award-winning Chinese Chef Tan Tzaan Liing and his team. Chef Tan has prepared three different menus; a selection of fresh Yee Sang (we’re not lying when we say fresh), a modern mix traditional dim sum brunch and palatable à la carte dishes.

Taiwanese Top Shell and Norwegian Salmon Yee Sang
Comprising of traditional ingredients with the option of topping it with Chef Tan's special plum sauce.
Double Boiled Chicken Consommé with Sliced Fish Maw, Trumpet shell and Ginseng
A soup filled with nutritious ingredients of herbs, ginseng and fish maw.
Crispy Roasted Chicken with Spicy Garlic Sauce
Cooked to perfection - a crispy outside garnished with a generous amount of garlic sauce, peanuts and sesame seed and tender on the inside, a well-balanced flavour.
Steamed Pomfret with Bean Curd Skin and Mandarin Skin
Having more oriental touches than the rest, this dish bathes in soy sauce fused with mandarin skin along fresh bean curd.
Stir fried Fresh Scallop with Two Kinds of Fungus
Presented beautifully and filled with brown fungus known as Yu Yee (a type of British mushroom), black fungus and succulent scallops that were juicy to the core, we are still longing for another plate.
Deep fried Prawn with Avocado Salsa
More than meets the eyes, this battered prawn dish is married with creamy avocado salsa.
Braised Dice Chicken and Abalone Rice
Flavoursome with each mouthful bite, expect aromatic rice and braised chicken soaked in gravy finished with spring onions.
Chinese New Year 'Nian Gau' and Sweetened Chilled Coconut Sago with Rock Melon and Jack Fruit
Ending the night with a sweet note, we experienced a little bit of heaven in our mouth with purple sweet potatoes paste stuffed in the 'Nian Gau' and the fruity notes with the chilled coconut sago.
The Chinese New Year menu is available from 12 January to the 11 February 2017 with the prices; Happiness Reunion Chinese New Year Set Menu 1 RM 1,688 nett per table of 10 persons; Blessings Reunion Chinese New Year Set Menu 2 RM 1,888 nett per table of 10 persons; Abundance Reunion Chinese New Year Set Menu 3 RM 2,088 nett per table of 10 persons.
The Yee Sang can be enjoyed in the surroundings of Five Sen5es or have it to go starting with RM68 nett per standard serving. The Simply Dim Sum Brunch is available on selected Saturdays and Sundays (28th, 29th, 30th January and 4th, 5th 11th February 2017).
