Located in the premium wine district of Coonawarra in South Australia, Katnook Estate’s winemaking history stretches back to 1896. First wines under Katnook label were made in 1980 after the Yunghanns family purchased the estate and planted the first vines in 1971. Coonawarra is among the very few regions in the world which offers diversity in its terroir and Katnook estate is home to some of Australia’s finest terra rossa vineyards.
