Celebrating a 200-year legacy, The Macallan invites bon vivants to indulge in the exquisite Double Cask series by way of a reimagined classic, the Boulevardier cocktail, reconstructed into a flight of cocktails by mixology experts from prominent bars. A classic and sophisticated drink with a rich history and deep, complex flavour profile, the Boulevardier cocktail embodies elegance and innovation as it honours classic flavours with contemporary twists.
The Journey Through Time Cocktail Flight
This unique tasting experience sees participating bars interpret the iconic Boulevardier into a flight of three cocktails, each perfectly representing the past, present and the future of the Macallan brand.
The handcrafted Boulevardier tipples embodying the past of The Macallan welcome all to savour the enduring spirit that is created in carefully selected American and European sherry seasoned oak casks. Featuring The Macallan 12 Years Old Double Cask, they pay homage to the perfect balance of flavours and natural colour in each cask, as well as the years of dedicated craftsmanship behind the expert hands of The Macallan.
Much like the way Double Cask whiskies are nurtured by its environment and deeply rooted in the rich, fertile banks of the River Spey, the cocktails focused on the present encourage all to enjoy the now, indulging in nature in its purest form. Each bar will feature one-of-a-kind versions of the Boulevardier made with The Macallan 15 Years Old Double Cask, specially crafted by its bartenders to mirror the River Spey and The Macallan Estate botanicals.
The cocktails that reflect the future symbolise The Macallan’s commitment to preserve and innovate while paying respect to the environment.
