Cortina Watch marks 2022 as a monumental year in light of its Golden Jubilee. As one of Asia Pacific’s foremost luxury watch retailers and distributors, they have etched a remarkable history in the world of fine timepieces. Cortina Watch held a gala that took place at the Ritz-Carlton Millennia, Singapore, on 19th November. In place at the gala, were novelties and chapters of Cortina Watch’s journey over the past half a century. From humble beginnings to becoming a public listed company with over forty boutiques across the globe, Cortina Watch remains true to Mr Anthony Lim’s vision, the founder, of valuing trust, loyalty and reliability at the heart of all that they do.
Cortina Watch marked its epic milestone with a series of commemorative events. These include the Patek Philippe travelling exhibition, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe exhibition, the “Happy Sport – Tale of an Icon” exhibition with Chopard, as well as the Franck Muller exhibition. Another highlight for Cortina Watch this year was the unveiling of the SHF-Cortina Watch Heart Wellness Centre back in August, the third Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) wellness facility.
This year, Cortina Watch collaborated with eight brand partners in launching several exclusive celebratory edition timepieces. Together with Patek Philippe, Blancpain, Cartier, Chopard, Corum, Franck Muller, H. Moser & Cie., and Tag Heuer, we saw a total of sixteen limited edition models. Masterpieces that will now be archived as mementos of Cortina Watch’s Golden Jubilee.
The Gala Dinner saw the attendance of key management personnel of longstanding brand partners, some of whom even flew in to celebrate the occasion. During the gala dinner, Jeremy Lim, CEO of Cortina Watch & COO of Cortina Holdings, attributed the success of Cortina Watch to the vision and foundation instilled by its founder, as well as the dedication of its staff. Mr Anthony Lim expressed his gratitude as he says, “Our employees are a part of our family. We cherish them and their efforts in lifting the company up. Our success is theirs.” Amidst the glittering occasion, he goes on to say, “We need to be as devoted to our staff, partners and customers as much as they are supportive of us.”
Giving back to the community and championing social responsibility, Cortina Watch made donations to several organisations including the Community Chest (for AWWA), Singapore Heart Foundation, Ren Ci Hospital, Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). The total figure of Cortina Watch’s donations amounts to S$1.62 million.
