Lancôme
Celebrating the first bloom of spring this new year, Lancôme weaves a story for CNY through the beauty and icon of the rose in conjunction with its 90th anniversary. For the limited edition packaging and gift boxes, Lancôme collaborated with Cai Guo-Qiang, globally renowned artist famous for his gunpowder art.
Cai developed and modelled his own AI named cAI, which worked with the artist to create Paris Rose, an impressionist artwork made of pink gunpowder and flame. cAI’s artwork can be found on the Génifique Ultimate Serum and Absolue Soft Cream Lunar New Year packaging, making both a wonderful gift and a piece of art to cherish.
Guerlain
In homage to the snake and it’s captivating, regenerative energy, Guerlain introduces a brand-new red shade to its iconic customisable Rouge G collection: 669 Mystic Red. Unique and captivating like the snake, Mystic Red is a marbled red colour consisting of two shades, swirling together in the bullet like a snake’s undulating movements. The darker and lighter shades combine on application, delivering an intense, fiery red.
To complement the lipstick shade, the Mystic Red Rouge G case features a red-and-gold fabric that combines several weaving effects to recreate the serpent’s skin.
