Drawing inspiration from the world’s most renowned amphitheatre – the Colosseum – the ring is a celebration of a new millennium as well as Hadid’s contribution to the world of architecture.
Bulgari is one unpredictable jewellery house.
On one hand, it continues to enchant the world over with elegant designs that transcends time like its Italian Gardens high jewellery collection. On the other, it continually tests our imagination with modern, progressive styles like its B.zero1 collection that hones in on clean geometric design and clever use of multiple golds, layered together to present an unconventional piece truly stands out.
Now, Bulgari is increasing the wow factor of the B.zero1 even more with the new B.zero1 Design Legend collection, a befitting tribute to the greatest woman in architecture of all time – Zaha Hadid.
Drawing inspiration from the world’s most renowned amphitheatre – the Colosseum – the ring is a celebration of a new millennium as well as Hadid’s contribution to the world of architecture. It proudly combines Emperor Vespasian’s architectural statement of power, Bulgari’s bold and geometric iconic design and Hadid’s fluid and curvaceous signature style, for a new ring that is classic, revolutionary and timeless at the same time.
Shaping creativity
The new collection comes in 4 new creations that are as disruptive as it is enriching – there’s the bold 4-band ring in pink gold; thinner 3-band version in white or pink gold; and an edgy pendant in pink gold.
Also, if you’ve noticed something different, Hadid lent her touch to it by deconstructing the original design. She’s taken apart the iconic central looping band and turned them into waves instead. What you get now are curving lines that flow freely in undulating gold waves.
This makes the ring appear to hover over the finer instead of closing around it, tricking the perception and demanding a closer look. Just like Hadid’s greatest buildings, Bulgari’s most iconic ring now looks effortlesly organic and alive.
