Dior has announced the launch of the limited-edition sneakers will take the form of an exclusive online experience.
The highly raved about Air Jordan 1 OD Dior sneakers, aka Air Dior, is finally landing. Following Dior’s Fall 2020 men’s show in Miami, the Maison has announced that launch of the limited-edition sneakers will take the form of an exclusive online experience.
For the guaranteed opportunity to buy a pair of the Air Dior sneakers, individuals will be required to register via the digital microsite which will be announced very soon. Individuals will then be asked to select their preferred model (either high-top or low-top sneakers), a pop-in store or pop-up pickup location and their shoe size. Each participant may only select one boutique and register only once for their desired style and size.
Each of Dior’s participating boutiques will be allocated a limited number of sneakers, which will be given on a first come, first served basis to lucky participants who have registered before stock runs out. The Maison will then invite said participants to visit their selected boutique or pop-up to purchase the sneakers.
Upon verification of eligibility, qualified participants will receive an SMS or email on the pick-up date for their selected sneaker, along with a unique QR code bearing the individual’s name. They will need to bring along a matching government-issued ID (or your MyKad, for Malaysians) to secure the purchase.
Together with the launch of the sneakers, Dior has unveiled an Air Dior capsule of ready-to-wear and accessories in collaboration with Jordan Brand. This exclusive collection will be available to shop at selected Dior pop-in stores from July as well as in two pop-up stores located inside the Selfridges Corner Shop in London and Taikoo Li in Chengdu.
