Last week, Swiss Watch Gallery – which is owned and operated by Valiram group – launched its signature timepiece event, Art of Time 2019 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
The event was graced by more than 200 guests comprising entrepreneurs, retail partners, watch enthusiasts as well as celebrities, socialites, media friends, and corporate captains. Executive director of Valiram Group, Asvhin Valiram opened the evening with a speech.
The event paid tribute to exquisite watchmaking featuring the technology from 12 luxury brands that have stood the test of time namely Arnold & Son, Bell & Ross, Girard-Perregaux, Graham, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaquet Droz, Oris, Parmigiani Fleurier, TAG Heuer, Tudor, Ulysse Nardin and Zenith.
The showcase featured all of the watch brands’ latest 2019 novelties, with some of notable timepieces such as the Jaquet Droz Tropical Bird Repeater, the Arnold & Son Time Pyramid Tourbillon in red gold, the Girard-Perregaux Bridges Cosmos, IWC Portofino HandWound Tourbillon Rétrograde, and the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 1950 Tourbillon, just to name a few. This is the first time Girard-Perregaux, Arnold & Sons, Parmigiani Fleurier and Ulysse Nardin have joined the exhibition.
The theme of Art of Time saw guests being transported to the Swiss Alps as the chalet-inspired décor was boosted by the warm wood-panelling and soft downlights that created an inviting atmosphere. Guests mixed and mingled while sipping on G.H Mumm champagne and Glenlivet and Monkey 47 cocktails, as they savoured the canapes and desserts prepared by Quivo, to the sweet sounds of local singing sensation Evelyn Feroza & The Band.
Some of the other attractions at the exhibition included a demonstration by Jaquet Droz master enameller, a virtual reality experience by Oris, a watch masterclass by Girard-Perregaux and even Italian coffee by illycaffe. There was also a special booth featuring state-of-the-art watch winders from Singapore-based luxury timepiece accessories Orient Crown.
The Art of Time 2019 showcase will be open for public viewing until November 10th, at the Centre Court, Concourse Level, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
