Lexus now accepting orders for 2018 Lexus LS, arriving this quarter

Malaysian lovers of fine luxury rides, listen up – you can now place your order for the 2018 Lexus LS.

The company’s proud fifth iteration is promised to top its predecessor in platform, powertain, styling, and craftsmanship. It was first seen last year at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show, and is now making it to our shores.

The LS sports Lexus’ first twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 engine paired to a 10-speed auto transmission. The result is 415hp, which when combined with the intuitive steering system, makes for a a smooth yet powerful ride.

Lexus is particularly proud of the design elements of this ode to intricate Japanese craftsmanship. It looks like a four-door coupe but feels like an old three-box design, with Kiriko cut glass and a hand-pleated door trim that automatically adapt to lighting conditions.

Additionally, the new Lexus LS features Lexus Safety System with pre-collision system that warns you to manouver away from potential accidents, and lane departure alert with advanced recognition capability.

All these paints a picture of security and elegance, especially among chauffeur-driven top executives – which is where Lexus is targeted the 2018 LS. The first fleet will be here before April, but you can already make your booking at any Lexus centre nationwide.

Every new model comes with a five-year warranty covering unlimited mileage, as well as complete after-sales support at any of the seven Malaysian centres.
