From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by their attentive spa staff. The calming ambiance, with its earthy tones, soft lighting, and minimalist décor, immediately set the tone for relaxation and invited us to leave the bustle of the city behind.
Before our treatments began, we were asked to complete a detailed questionnaire at the wellness lounge about our preferences and any specific areas of concern. This thoughtful step allowed the therapists to recommend the most suitable massage for our needs, setting the stage for a highly personalised experience.
Sanctum’s treatment menu is impressively comprehensive, offering everything from deeply relaxing massages to rejuvenating facials. The selection of massages included various options such as the Sanctum Signature, deep tissue, Balinese, aromatherapy, and more. Each treatment is tailored to individual needs, ensuring a holistic experience that nurtures both body and mind.
Facial treatments on the other hand range from hydrating and brightening therapies to lifting and anti-aging regimens. We were especially pleased to discover that the spa uses BABOR products which are renowned in the skincare world for their scientifically advanced and effective formulations.
After our personalised consultation, we were guided into the treatment room through a softly lit corridor. Each room is a tranquil sanctuary, with plush massage beds, warm lighting, and subtle aromatherapy that soothes the senses. The spa’s layout enhances the feeling of privacy, with every treatment room offering a cocoon-like space designed to help guests disconnect, recharge, and fully immerse themselves in the rituals that follow.
For our massage, we opted for the Sanctum Signature, a beautifully choreographed blend of techniques designed to ease tension and encourage deep relaxation. The therapist’s skilled hands worked with perfect balance, delivering pressure and flow that felt both invigorating and soothing.
We also tried a facial treatment, which left our skin feeling refreshed, hydrated, and noticeably more radiant – thanks in part to the potent yet gentle BABOR products used throughout. After the treatment, we were invited back to the wellness lounge, where a calming cup of tea and a small plate of biscuits were served to round off the experience.
Before leaving the 29th floor, we got to explore the adjacent Sanctum Fitness gym, fitted with state-of-the-art machines, and the striking infinity pool that offers breathtaking views over Kuala Lumpur’s skyline.
