Volvo Malaysia has unveiled the all-new Volvo ES90, a fully electric sedan that blends Scandinavian elegance, cutting-edge technology, and the spaciousness of an SUV. With next-generation computing, ultra-fast charging, and Volvo’s signature safety innovations, the ES90 redefines what an electric car can be. From its sleek design to its high-performance capabilities, this game-changing model delivers comfort, efficiency, and intelligent features that evolve over time.
Smarter, faster and more efficient
The ES90 is built for the future, featuring next-generation core computing that’s eight times more powerful than before. It’s also Volvo’s first car with 800V technology, meaning a longer range and ultra-fast charging. You can add up to 300km of range in just 10 minutes at a 350kW fast-charging station, with a total range of up to 700km.
Stylish practicality
The ES90’s slightly raised stance provides a commanding view of the road, while its sleek, aerodynamic design enhances efficiency. Its signature Thor’s Hammer headlights and distinctive rear LED lighting create a bold, modern Volvo identity.
The wide tailgate makes loading luggage easy, whether for daily errands or weekend getaways. Need more space? The rear seats fold individually, expanding cargo capacity from 424 litres to 733 litres. There’s even a handy 22-litre front trunk (frunk) for charging cables.

With a 3.1-metre wheelbase, the ES90 offers exceptional legroom for rear passengers. Choose from six ambient light themes and various upholstery options to personalise your space. A panoramic roof with UV protection keeps the cabin cool, while an electrochromic option lets you adjust transparency for glare and privacy.
For a premium audio experience, the ES90 boasts a top-tier Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 25 high-fidelity speakers, including headrest and ceiling speakers. Meanwhile, noise reduction technology ensures a whisper-quiet ride.
Next-gen tech for a seamless drive
The ES90 features an advanced infotainment system with Google built-in, powered by the Snapdragon® Cockpit Platform. The 9-inch driver display and head-up display provide critical driving information at a glance, while the 14.5-inch centre screen handles navigation, entertainment, and climate control.
Parking is easier than ever with a 360-degree camera and a new 3D view, giving you a clear perspective in tight spaces.
Always improving with over-the-air updates
The ES90 is based on Volvo’s new SPA2 architecture, sharing the same advanced tech stack as the EX90. This means ongoing performance and safety upgrades via over-the-air updates, ensuring your car stays ahead of the curve.
It’s also the most powerful Volvo ever in computing capacity, thanks to its dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin processors. Capable of handling 508 trillion operations per second, this system powers AI-driven safety features, battery management, and high-speed processing for a smarter, safer drive.
Safety beyond expectations
Volvo’s legendary safety standards are at the heart of the ES90. Its advanced sensor system includes lidar, five radars, seven cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, providing a level of vision beyond human capability. Features like driver attention monitoring, door opening alerts to protect cyclists and pedestrians, and full-cabin occupant sensing ensure safety for everyone inside and outside the car.
The Volvo ES90 is now available in select markets, with more locations being added throughout 2025 and 2026.
